Shipping: Destinations, Methods and Transit Times

WorldChristian understands and empathizes with the fact that shipping costs at times can be quite substantial. We have worked hard to make them as reasonable and close to actual costs as possible.

Our shipping rates are based on the WEIGHT of your order, the DESTINATION, and the shipping METHOD you choose.

You can look at the shipping cost before check-out (i.e., when you have one or more items in your shopping cart you can view domestic shipping rates, and a sampling of non-USA rates [exact non-USA rates can only be seen during check out once address info has been entered, but still before submitting your order]).

USA DESTINATIONS (Continental and non-Continental)
Available "Shipping Methods" to USA Continental Destinations
- Standard (in transit 1-5 business days)
- Media Mail (in transit 2-10 business days)
- Express 2-Day (in transit 2 business days)
- Express 1-Day (in transit 1 business day)
- Local Pick Up in Colorado Springs (we will call or email w/in one day)

Available "Shipping Methods" to non-Continental USA Destinations
This includes: Alaska (AK), American Samoa (AS), Federated States of Micronesia (FM), Guam (GU), Hawaii (HI), Marshall Islands (MH), Northern Mariana Islands (MP), Palau (PW), Puerto Rico (PR) and U.S. Virgin Islands (VI))
- Standard (in transit 2-4 business days)
- Media Mail (varies, can take several weeks)
- Express (in transit 1-2 business day to most areas)

REST OF THE WORLD
Available  "Shipping Methods" to other countries (not all services available to all countries all the time, due to political and other occurrances). When orders reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures; these can occasionally cause delays beyond delivery estimates.
- Standard (in transit 6-14 business days)
- Express (in transit 3-8 business days)

Please Note:

EXPRESS shipments require a street address. (Please realize that choosing an EXPRESS option does not necessarily mean that your shipment will go out the same day. It means that, common to industry practice, once it is ready to ship, it will be shipped by the requested mailing method.) Most titles are shipped out within one or two days.

Quote of the Day
This experience revealed that people, perhaps universally, would far rather engage in legitimate exchange than be the object of another's pity. There is something in one-way giving that erodes human dignity. This kind of compassion subtly communicates to the recipient, 'You have nothing of value that I desire in return.' One-way mercy ministry, as kind hearted as the giver may be and as well-intentioned, is an unmistakable form of put-down.

On the other hand, everyone loves to engage in the process of exchange. Everyone loves to find a bargain. There is something life affirming when someone comes to the bargaining table with a resource to barter. The playing field is leveled. The eying of each other's commodity takes place from both sides of the bargaining table.

Both sides have a choice; both sides weigh the worth of the other's commodity. A deal is struck, an exchange is made. And remarkably, both parties leave the encounter feeling like they have gained more value than they brought.
